Monday Music

I’m tapping a little more Rock Band inspiration for today’s Monday Music. I don’t remember ever hearing this song before (I’m pretty far out of touch with modern pop music), but I definitely like it. Good beat, good guitar work, great lyrics, great way to start a week.

The Killers, “When You Were Young” (with “Enterlude,” live at Glastonbury)

  1. “All These Things That I’ve Done” by the Killers is one of my favorite songs, as is “Read My Mind”. I like nearly every song on their “Hot Fuss” album, but only a couple on their “Sam’s Town” album. There’s something about the lead singer that appeals to me… in a lanky, emo kind of way.

Did you post one of those vids to your blog recently? I definitely recall being exposed to The Killers for the first time via a YouTube vid on a blog post not too long ago. That song wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really grab me…this one did, though.
