With the exception of the (much-discussed in the comments, the answer being “we couldn’t decide where to categorize them”) omission of Tool and Pantera, I have to say this is a quite well-done guide.

What a good read…nicely done too. It is kind of neat when there is the hint of actual objectivity in anything written these days.
I thought it was a lot more well-balanced than I could have done. I’ll also admit that there are bands there I’ve never heard of. I hang my head in shame.

From the sound of it, we’d be rocking the death metal while playing some poker, huh? You can tell him I (probably stupidly) called a raise this past weekend with a pair of deuces, and flopped quads. I then got zero action on the quads. D’oh!
After the Rainy Mix is fully worked out (and it almost is) then I’m turning to refine my rough draft of “Smash the World” – I’ll be sure you guys get a copy of that; he’ll probably like it. *evil grin*
