Doing another blog-in-advance just in case jury duty screws up my ability to actually, you know, post on Monday.
This week’s Monday Music is the old 90s band Days of the New. I saw these guys open for Metallica back in ’97 or ’98, and they were really pretty good. Considering it was an outdoor show in July in Virginia and it was 90+ degrees outside, really having a blast at a show should tell you that the band ain’t so bad. Yes, they’re a little bit of an Alice In Chains clone with an acoustic gimmick, but they put out some good music.
Days of the New, “Touch, Peel, and Stand.” (I’ve never understood that title.)
